Sorry for the long email, but I have lots of good stuff to pass along regarding DOKK! Take special note of the Riverboat Dinner Cruise and the Dayton Dragons Baseball events.
1) Monday, April 14, 2025 – Quarterly Stated meeting of Bokara Temple 113 at 7pm at Red Star Lodge. Usual 5:30pm-ish gathering at Los Mariachis Restaurant for food and fellowship (pay your own food and beverage bill). If you have any prospective members, this is the meeting to present their petitions in preparation for the ceremonial in May (next item below). I apologize, but I will be out of town for the April meeting. I will have the Secretary materials at the Lodgehall ready for the meeting if someone could take some notes for me, please and thanks.
2) Saturday, May 10, 2025 – DOKK Ohio Society Meeting and Ceremonial – starting at Noon at Red Star Lodge. Food and drinks will be available.
3) Friday, May 30, 2025 – Night at the Dayton Dragons Baseball! Like last year, we have the Cafe Deck on the first base line reserved. It offers covered seating and you also have a reserved stadium seat in the main field level section on the first base line. Tickets are $20 each payable to Marty Trent. 4) Saturday, July 19, 2025 – BB Riverboats Admiral’s Dinner Cruise. The Royal Vizier has organized a wonderful evening for you and your lady. It includes a cruise on the Ohio River with a delicious dinner. Cost is $70 per person payable to Bokara Temple 113. Make your reservations to Paul McAfee at 937-581-4175 or paulmca50@aol.com. Cruising is 7-9pm.
The dinner menu includes salads, chicken, fish, beef, and vegetarian entrees, potato, vegetables, bread, and dessert. Adult beverages are available at a cash bar.

The cruise leaves from the Newport Landing Dock at the foot of Columbia Street adjacent to the Newport Aquarium. Public Parking is available on Riverboat Row and in a surface lot on Columbia Street.
