2025 – 2026 Poster Contest
The Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias, Domain of Ohio participates in the Supreme Lodge’s Annual Poster Contest. The theme which poster submissions must reflect is different each year, selected by the Supreme Lodge. The information below reflects the requirements for 2025-2026 contest entries. Rules for the 2026-2027 contest will be made available here as well on the Supreme Lodge website.
Rules for submitting posters for judging in the Ohio preliminary contest are the same each year.
All submissions must follow all requirements found in the Supreme Lodge Poster Contest Brochure linked below some of which are also posted on this page regarding the information that must be part of each submission.
Judging begins at the local lodge level. Posters that meet all requirements and reflect the year’s theme are judged by a committee selected by the local lodge. Winners in each category will be referred by the local lodge for judging by the Grand Lodge committee. This judging is usually held in May of each year. The deadline for submissions by local lodges will be published in the flyer announcing the theme and submission categories that is put out around the beginning of the Grand Lodge year.
No poster submissions will be accepted for judging at the Grand Lodge level that do not include all labeling requirements indicated in Rule #5 listed below or that have not gone through the local lodge judging process.
The Supreme Lodge Knights of Pythias sponsors an annual High School Poster / Visual Arts contest. It is open to any student enrolled as a Freshman (Grade 9), Sophomore (Grade 10), Junior (Grade 11), or Senior (Grade 12) in any Junior, Senior High, or Parochial School in the United States and Canada.
